TCAPS will host a hiring event from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at the school district’s Transportation Department (1180 Cass Road).

Traverse City Central High School to Reopen Friday

After closing the Traverse City Central High School campus to students and staff for two days on October 21st and October 22nd and transitioning to remote learning, in order to allow the Grand Traverse County Health Department adequate time to complete contact tracing related to a school-associated case of COVID-19, Central High School will reopen to face-to-face instruction on Friday, October 23, 2020.

TCAPS Seeks Volunteers for PA 226 Sex Education Advisory Committee

Volunteers are needed to serve on the TCAPS Sex Education Advisory Committee. The PA 226 Sex Ed Advisory Committee will meet once a month to review sex education curriculum and materials.

TCAPS was informed by the Grand Traverse County Health Department on October 15, 2020, of a positive school associated case of COVID-19 related to West Senior High School. The Health Department is investigating the situation and has determined there were no close contacts identified within the school community. The Health Department has also identified a potential public exposure site at the following:
