MSBOA District II Marching Band Expo at Thirlby Field – October 14th

Traverse City Area Public Schools will host the MSBOA District II Marching Band Expo at Thirlby Field on October 14, 2019 beginning at 5:00 p.m. Each band will have 10 minutes to perform and will receive feedback from two judges, one in each of the following categories: music, marching, and general effect showmanship.

Blair Elementary School Teams Up with Boomers Bootcamp to Fuel Up to Play 60—October 11th

On Friday, October 11, 2019, at 1:10 p.m., kindergarten through fifth grade students at Blair Elementary School will be teaming up with local gym Boomers Bootcamp, a results-driven, energetic fitness workout program, to help get students moving.

Winner of nine Tony Awards when it debuted in 1964, Fiddler on the Roof has touched audiences worldwide with its humor, warmth and honesty. Set in the little village of Anatevka, the story centers on Tevye, a poor milkman, and his five daughters.

Today, TCAPS held its October 2019 “count day,” a district-wide student count to determine enrollment numbers. The October 2019 preliminary student count numbers show total enrollment has remained steady in the district.

TCAPS Music Department’s Annual Discount Card Now Available

The TCAPS Music Department is selling discount cards for $10 again this year. The Music Department fundraiser nets more than $9 per card sold. There are several big deals on the card that will pay for the cost of the card after only 1 or 2 uses.

Free Shuttle Service Available Between West Middle School Parking Lot and TC Patriot Game—Sept. 20

On Friday, September 20, 2019, TCAPS will be offering free shuttle service between TC West Middle School (3950 Silver Lake Rd.) and Thirlby Field (410 W. Thirteenth St.) for the TC Patriot Game.
