Four CHS Students Named Finalists in 25th Annual Italian Songs & Arias Vocal Competition

Four vocal students from Traverse City Central High School, Annabelle Arends, Morgan Davis, Lauren Fleming, and Emlin Munch, were named finalists in the 25th Annual Italian Songs and Arias Vocal Competition.

Summer Explorers Club Registration Opens March 26th

Online registration will open for TCAPS’ Summer Explorers Club on Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Explorers Clubs are designed for children, ages 3-12, and will be available at four locations (Cherry Knoll, Eastern, TCAPS Montessori, and Westwoods). Each week will feature different theme-based activities, field trips and/or special guests.

Trojan Athletic Boosters to Host “Nash Bash” Fundraiser—April 27th

On Saturday, April 27, 2019, the Traverse City Central High School Athletic Boosters will host their annual fundraiser, this year called the Trojan “Nash Bash.” The event will feature the sights and sounds of Nashville and will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the City Opera House (1669 E Front St.).

Upcoming Board Office Hours—March 21st

The TCAPS Board of Education will host “Office Hours” (formerly known as Coffee Conversations) on March 21, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. at Horizon Books (243 E. Front Street). The new listening session format is intended to offer an opportunity for community members to have one-on-one conversations with board members in an informal setting.

West Senior High School Academic Booster Fundraiser—April 26th

On April 26, 2019, the Traverse City West Senior High School Academic Boosters (WSH) will host a fundraiser at Boone's Long Lake Inn. The dinner event will fund scholarships for Class of 2019 seniors, which will be presented at the school’s Honors Convocation in May.

TCAPS' West Senior High School is pleased to announce that two mission patch designs for the Student Spaceflight Experiments Program (SSEP) Mission 13 have been selected for transport to the International Space Station (ISS).
