Intermittent internet outages may be experienced during evening maintenance windows
Middle and high school students to resume in-person learning Dec. 9th

Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS) was informed by the Grand Traverse County Health Department on November 19, 2020, of positive school-associated cases of COVID-19 at East Middle School, Traverse City High School, and West Senior High School. The Health Department has completed its case investigation process in each case.
The last Saturday meal distribution at West Middle School until school resumes face-to-face will take place on Saturday, November 21, 2020.
Special meeting originally scheduled for 8 p.m. Nov. 16th cancelled due to server issues
Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS) is announcing that the special meeting of the Board of Education originally scheduled for Monday, November 16th, which has been rescheduled to Wednesday, November 18, 2020, will be held at the revised time of 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held virtually.
Elementary schools to remain open for face-to-face learning
Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS) is announcing that remote learning will continue for middle school and high school students from Monday, November 16, 2020, through Friday, November 20, 2020. Additional information about how middle and high school students can continue to access their learning remotely will be provided by their school and/or teachers. Meals will be available daily for pick-up at each school building during the time designated as lunch on the remote schedule.

East Middle School, West Middle School, Central High School, West Senior High School, and Traverse City High School learning remotely Nov.11th-13th
Even though free, healthy, and nutritious breakfasts and lunches are available to all students ages 18 and under this school year, Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS) families are still asked to submit an education benefit form. This information is important because it is used to determine the distribution of other educational funding that supports TCAPS students.
