TCC Esports represented Central High School at the MiHSEF State Finals at the University of Michigan-Flint. This season saw over 300 teams compete for a spot at the finals. Our Super Smash Bros. Ultimate team delivered an outstanding performance by finishing in the top 12 teams in the state. Go Trojans! If interested in learning more about Esports, we will be hosting open labs on Tuesdays in C102 from 3pm to 5pm.

  • Prom tickets are being sold before school, after school, and during both lunches for $30. Reminder: The dance is May 17th at Grand Traverse Resort!  It starts at 8pm, and ends at 11pm; doors close at 9pm with no reentry. To bring a sophomore guest or a guest from a different school, you must fill out the form in your morning announcement email. Guests must be registered by Wednesday, May 14th. Your approved guests must enter with the individual who purchased their tickets. No freshmen are allowed at the dance. You must have your ID to enter and no backpacks will be allowed in. 

  • Student Senate is having a disc golf tournament TODAY after school at the NMC Disc Golf Course. Teams of two will play, with one mulligan allowed per player. The team with the lowest score will win. Sign up across from the weight room doors.

  • Seniors who would like to earn the blue service cord to wear at graduation for completing 100 hours of community service (based on the following criteria), the forms are due to your counselor by May 1st. 

  • Have you looked at the job board recently? Many businesses are hiring for the summer. Check out all of the job openings on the board outside of Tech Central. New postings are being added frequently. 

  • This past weekend, Varsity Softball took 3rd place in the Dow Charger Classic tournament with Audrey Williams and Kayla Noble sharing time in the circle for the combined wins. Kayla Noble had 5 RBI'S to back up her pitching, Grace Cary had 4 RBI's and scored her 100th career run and Julia Brady and Anna Tabaczka each had 2 RBI's with Anna hitting the game-ending double to close the weekend. Wish them luck as they travel to Alpena tonight.

  • Congratulations to Choral-Aires, Vocal Majority, Men of Note, and ALL vocal soloists for receiving first division ratings at the MSVMA State Solo & Ensemble Festival this weekend! Special congratulations to Olivia Frixen, who was chosen as one of the two soloists at States to perform at MSVMA All-State at MSU on May 9th. If you see the following vocal soloists, please congratulate them on their outstanding preparation and high level of performance excellence: Katie Bollenbacher, Sophie Bonaddio, Vada Brasington, Isla Falconer, Olivia Frixen, Charlotte Furlong, Mason Godin, Eli Goodwin, Lyla Hammersley, Morgan Hill, Eli Hoeppner, Lauren Johnson, Brecken Ketko, Lucy Leppien, Clayton Loomis, Emery Luyt, Mae Madion, Megan Mell, Maxwell Milne, Lauren Nichols, Neil Oyer, Anika Peterson, Emmy Sageser, Ellie Schenkelberger, Lilly Shev, Lilliana Sosa-Dunn, Aaron Ulbrich, Leah Walkup, Alyssa Wares and McKenna Wilcox.

  • There will be a Fellowship of Christian Athlete's meeting on Thursday morning at 7:20am in Coach Schugars' classroom, C130.  All students are welcome.
