Daily Announcements - Dec. 19

TOMORROW is the last day to bring in donations for our Student Senate Coat Drive. Students are encouraged to bring in new or used coats for the Student Support Network. Coats may be brought to the main office or wing office.

  • The Junior EDP field trips have begun! This is a graduation requirement for all non-CTC juniors and will provide students an opportunity to meet with employers in an industry they have expressed interest in. Juniors, please see the schedule on the Oleson Office door and reach out to Mrs. Johnson if you have any questions. On the day of your tour, you will meet in the auditorium at 9:15 for attendance and will then hop on a TCAPS bus with your peers and a chaperone to head out for your site visit. Most trips conclude around noon when your bus will drop you back off at Central High School.

  • The Central High School Orchestra will be performing a special concert TONIGHT at 6:30pm in the Central auditorium. Join us for an evening of beautiful music, followed by a short reception to celebrate our talented musicians. We hope to see you there!

  • The holiday season can be a time of joy and celebration, but it can also bring a lot of stress. Breathe! Try deep breathing exercises or mindfulness apps to stay calm and grounded. Your well-being is important!

  • CALLING ALL TROJANS TO VOTE EVERYDAY THIS WEEK!!! CHS and EMS Choirs have entered the 106 KHQ Choir Competition and are in need of everyone to vote for CHS Chorale's "Theme from Elf" recording and EMS 6th graders' "Carol of the Bells" recording. The choirs who receive the most votes in each division will be awarded $1,000 for their program. Go Trojans! Visit the Link in your morning email to VOTE: https://www.106khq.com/choir/
