With the goal to return all students back to face-to-face learning, the TCAPS Board of Education voted 7-0 to continue virtual learning for all secondary students grades 6-12 for the remainder of this week and reinstate the previous universal masking policy effective Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS) is announcing there will be no school for all students on Friday, January 7, 2022 due to staffing shortages. In addition, TCAPS secondary students (grades 6-12) will move to remote learning for Monday, January 10, 2022 and Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

Following a routine bus stop that resulted in a student being hit by a vehicle this morning, Traverse City Area Public Schools is asking the community to be extremely aware of students loading and unloading school buses before and after school each day.
