Our TCAPS community mourns the loss of School Board Trustee Holly T. Bird who passed away April 2. Trustee Bird began her role with the Board of Education on January 1, 2023, and served on the curriculum, finance, and sustainability committees during her tenure.

Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS) is pleased to share that the academic calendar for 2025-2026 is finalized and available to view, along with building start and end times.

Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS) announced that Standard & Poors (S&P) Global Ratings assigned an ‘AA-’ rating with a stable outlook for $81.3 million series 2025 general obligation (GO) school building and site bonds. S&P Global Ratings also affirmed its 'AA-' rating on the district's existing GO debt.

Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS) is pleased to announce two students have been named finalists in the 70th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Less than one percent of all U.S. high school seniors reach this level of academic achievement.
