Representatives from Hazard, Young, Attea and Associates, a consulting firm that specializes in assisting school boards with superintendent searches, will facilitate two open forums to help identify the characteristics and skills desired for the next TCAPS superintendent.
Student count day will be held on February 12, 2020. State funding amounts are based on student attendance on count day.
In honor of National Pizza Day, on Sunday, February 9, 2020, B.C. Pizza (3186 Lafrainer Rd.) will host its 2nd Annual Pizza For A Cause from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

A Preschool/Summer Explorers Club Information Fair will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Eastern Elementary School (1600 Eastern Ave.), from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., for families who have questions or need additional assistance with the enrollment process for both TCAPS' tuition-based preschool and Summer Explorers Club programs.
TCAPS’ Summer Explorers Clubs are designed to engage preschool through fifth grade learners during the summer months. Clubs run Monday through Friday, June 22 - August 28, 2020.
TCAPS music teacher and K-12 district music curriculum leader, Wendee Wolf-Schlarf, was honored at the 2020 Michigan Music Conference by the Michigan School Vocal Music Association (MSVMA) for her years of volunteer service.
