This week, high fives go out to:
1. TCAPS staff, thank you for the warm welcome you've given our students as we begin a new school year! 🍎 It's awesome to see so many familiar faces!
2. Baymont Inn & Suites and the Traverse City Pit Spitters who once again teamed up to collect school supplies for our students. This annual event is a huge help and a true testament to the power of our community. We appreciate you! ✏️
3. Books-A-Million Traverse City! Thanks to their summer book drive, six boxes of books are now in the hands of teachers and headed straight into classrooms for kids to enjoy!
4. Mrs. Walter, a Roadrunner Champion! She embodies compassion and care, always putting our students first. Her positive impact on the Traverse Heights school community is immeasurable. 🌟
5. Mrs. Stewart's 6th graders at East Middle School who started the year off strong by making a literal chain of connections. They shared interests, found common ground, and linked up their ideas to show just how much they have in common. What a great way to kick off the school year!
Great job, everyone!
