This week, high fives go out to:
1. Traverse City High School for their first Maverick Enrichment Day! They were so excited to welcome back their alumni, who spent the day assisting staff and helping students during a fun and collaborative orientation. This is what community is all about! 🌟
2. Long Lake Elementary for bringing the magic of a StoryWalk to their school! They transformed their track into a literary trail, where students can enjoy a good book one page at a time. What a fun and innovative way to encourage both literacy and physical activity. 📖🚶♂️
3. West Senior High’s Library Media Center for hosting the Annual WSH Clubs & Activities Open House! It was a fantastic opportunity for students to discover the many amazing opportunities available at WSH. Hey Titans, don't forget to join a club and find your community!
4. The staff and students at Willow Hill Elementary who are soaring! Staff created a SOAR board for students to earn slips recognizing their actions of Safety, Ownership, Acceptance, and Respect. Each Friday, staff draw a few slips for school-wide recognition. Keep up the great work, Falcons! 🚀
5. TBA Credit Union and its members! Their generous donations to the Back-to-School Drive empowered the TCAPS Student Support Network to ensure our students' classrooms are well-stocked, preparing them for a successful school year!✏️📚
