The Senior Class Party will be on Sunday, June 3rd at 10pm. Tickets will be sold by the student parking lot entrance every Thursday during the lunch hours. They're $40 now and will go up in May, so buy them early and be entered TWICE into the Grand Prize drawing. Cash or checks made out to TCC Senior Class Party will be accepted.
Traverse City Central's FIRST Robotics Team, also known as the Raptors, competed at the Michigan FRC State Championship last weekend at Saginaw Valley State University. Despite posting a 4-8 record during qualification matches, the Raptors were chosen to be part of the #2 alliance for the playoffs. The Raptors' alliance lost in the quarterfinals. During the awards ceremony, the Raptors were given the Team Spirit Award in honor of their enthusiasm and resiliency. This award gave the Raptors enough points to qualify for the FIRST Robotics World Championship which will be held in Detroit April 25-28.

FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) teams representing Traverse City Central High School and Traverse City West Senior High School competed at the Michigan FRC State Championship over the weekend at Saginaw Valley State University. Both teams qualified for the FRC World Championship, which will be held April 25-28, 2018, in Detroit, Mich.
On Saturday, May 5, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Traverse City Area Public Schools will host a Cinco de Mayo fundraiser dinner and silent auction to support global service volunteer and language learning trips to Spain and Mexico at the Traverse City Masonic Lodge (13360 S W Bay Shore Dr.).
