On Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 4:00 p.m., the City of Traverse City Safe Routes to School team will host a Walking and Biking Audit at Willow Hill Elementary School to assess routes students use to walk and bike to school.
Jane Porath, a teacher at East Middle School, is one of twenty-four teachers who have been selected by the Michigan Department of Education from a pool of more than 300 applicants to serve on a new panel to help guide the state’s plan to implement the federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
