TCHS staff and students visited Reigning Liberty and the Beauty College this past Friday as part of the Maverick Enrichment Program. Students had the opportunity to learn about post secondary opportunities and community organizations as well assist with projects.

TCHS students had the opportunity to visit the fire department this past Friday as part of the Maverick Enrichment Program. They learned about post secondary opportunities and the role of emergency operations. Students also baked dog treats and delivered them to the Cherryland Humane Society.

- Sports physicals
- Consultations and referrals
- Plus, other services!

TCHS students were welcomed back to Oryana West last Friday. Students experienced shopping, prepping, and preparing meals. While another group of students were able to participate in an pottery activity at TCHS. Thank you Oryana West and Clay Space for providing TCHS with last week's Friday Enrichment Activities!

TCHS started off quarter 2 Maverick Enrichment Days with two opportunities! Students helped Reining Liberty with tasks and learned about their community involvement. Another group of students visited Oryana where they were able to shop, prepare, and enjoy different meals. Thank you Reining Liberty and Oryana for hosting TCHS students and staff.

The community was at TCHS supporting Mavericks this week! TADL worked with 11 students during lunch to receive their library cards. The Mobile Health Unit was able to to see 11 students throughout the day on Wednesday. Township Clerks worked with 33 Mavericks to register or pre-register to vote. Thank you to these community members and all of the others for your continued support!

We had a great turnout for last week's Maverick Enrichment Friday! Nearly 30 students visited the Michigan Legacy Art Park at Crystal Mountain. Students and staff enjoyed exploring over 40 pieces of art while hiking in a beautiful nature preserve. Next week's adventure, takes our students to the Music House in Acme. Be sure to sign your student up if they are interested in attending.

TC High was fortunate to have the Mobile Health Unit visit us this week! Several students were able to be seen by a doctor right at school. The Mobile Health Unit will return to TC High next month on October 22. We are grateful for this opportunity for our students!
