Student Senate is hosting a Winter Essentials Drive for those in need in the local community. Drop off gently used winter gear, or mini toiletries such as shampoo or deodorant, in the bins outside of each office. Accepting donations through Dec 19th.
The Central Music Department is holding a Sock Drive for students in our building. NEW adult-size socks can be dropped off in the wrapped collection boxes in the Choir Room or the Band/Orchestra Lobby, now through December 11. Let's keep our feet warm this winter!

There will be a Global Studies Community meeting on Thursday, December 11th, after Early Release in C183. Please see Ms Paul if you are unable to attend.
Congratulations to the Model United Nations award winners! This past weekend, Samantha Summers and Alice Proctor took second awards in their committees at Model UN. Charlie Hammersely took Highest Honors in their committee. This conference was a great introduction to our longer conference in March. If you are interested in participating in the longer conference for an independent study grade, please stop by Ms Lynch's room before school.
Congratulations to the TCC Debate team, who competed at the Spartan Online Invitational this weekend, hosted by MSU. The team finished strong against schools from around the country. Special congrats to Evan Fox and Arthur Lijewski-Lee for making it to the quarterfinals. The entire team will compete this upcoming weekend at the State Finals Tournament at Wayne State University. Good luck, Trojans!

Hello Trojans! The 9th grade TIE classes are working with the student support network to help restock needed items in our CHS Food Pantry! Collection boxes will be outside of Mrs. Mazurek's, Mr. Lantz's, and Mr. MacNeil's classrooms. We are looking for individually wrapped snack items, nonperishable food, or any hygiene products. Every act of kindness helps us build a stronger Trojan community.
Here is your Wellness Wednesday reminder. Acts of kindness release positive chemicals in your brain. Helping others is also helping yourself. Be kind always!

If you would like to know more about Model United Nations, stop by Ms. Lynch’s room, C187, to talk to her about it.
The Striking Tritons bowling teams had their first meets on Saturday, December 6. The Varsity A teams competed at the annual Big North Conference Tournament in Gaylord. The girls' team took first place. Kileigh Munro placed 2nd in individual play, earning 1st All-Conference Team honors. Kyleigh Clayton placed 7th, 2nd All-Conference Team honors. The boys' team placed third. Everett Metiva placed 7th, and Michael Munro placed 10th in the boys’ individual competition, earning 2nd All-Conference Team honors. At the Great Northwest High School Conference Baker Tournament, the Varsity B girls team placed 2nd, and the Varsity B boys team placed 8th. Our first Great Northwest High School Bowling Conference meet of the season will be on Saturday, December 13, starting at 8:30 am at The Pines in Cadillac.

Traverse City Central is excited to welcome back the 1985 TC Central State Champion Football Team and coaching staff this Friday, October 17th, at Thirlby Field!
This legendary team, led by Coach Jim Ooley, secured the MHSAA Class A State Championship with a dominant 29-3 victory. The team will be honored as honorary captains during the pregame coin toss and formally introduced between the first and second quarters of the varsity game.
Come show your Trojan pride and celebrate their enduring legacy! See you there!
