Daily Announcements - December 18
If you are interested in participating in the Model United Nations conference in March for independent study credit, please stop by Dr. Lynch's room, C187, to talk to her about it. This is a great conference to attend if you are interested in international politics! We have four openings - two for Italy, one for Costa Rica, and one for the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Stop by some time this week!
Student Senate is hosting a Winter Essentials drive for those in need in the local community. Drop off gently used winter gear, or mini toiletries such as shampoo or deodorant in the bins outside of each office. Accepting donations through TOMORROW.
Traverse City Central High School will host a Community Blood Drive on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 8:30 am–1:30 pm in the New Gym as part of a friendly competition with TC West to see which school can collect the most donations. The need for blood is constant—patients rely on it every day for emergency care, cancer treatment, and other critical procedures—so your participation can make a direct impact while helping Central lead the competition. Appointments are strongly preferred and can be scheduled by visiting the link HERE! (walk-ins are welcome as availability allows). Donors ages 16+ may participate; 16-year-old donors must complete a parent permission form, available in C139. Please eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of water beforehand; snacks, sandwiches, and a t-shirt (while supplies last) will be provided for donors.
Senate is hosting a movie night TONIGHT in the small gym after the home girls' basketball game. The movie is ELF, and it is FREE to get it!
