LL News: 2.18.24 Conferences, Bookfair & Staff Meal Sign Up

Dear Long Lake Families,

This is Mrs. Burwinkel with your weekly update.

Parent Teacher Conference Sign Ups: Our Winter 2024 Parent Teacher Conferences will be on February 27th (Virtual), February 29th (In Person) and March 7th (Parent Choice of Virtual or In Person). Please use SignUpGenius link here to schedule a time to meet with your child's teacher.  Virtual Links for conferences can be found here.  Please indicate in the comment section of Sign Up Genius if you plan to attend in person or virtually.  We ask that dual households schedule one conference for their child.  This helps everyone to be on the same page to support the student’s learning, it also allows the teacher to have enough time slots for all of the students in their class. If you experience problems signing up, feel free to contact our office at 231-933-7800 or your child's teacher. Sign up times for specials teachers are also available. Resource Room and Intervention Teachers will join student's homeroom teacher times.  Also, if you’d like to meet with Mr. VanHouten (our art teacher) on March 4th, you can sign up here.

LL BOOKFAIR: During Parent/Teacher Conferences, Long Lake will be hosting a Bookfair!  You can purchase in person or online here: https://www.brilliant-books.net/school-book-fairs. By purchasing books from our BOOKFAIR, you are supporting the Library at Long Lake! You can now shop the book fair catalog.  When you check out, 25% of your purchase total will be credited to Long Lake Elementary for use to purchase books for our library collections!

Our in person hours for the Bookfair are:

February 27 from 8:40am-8:00pm

February 28 from 8:40am-4:15pm

February 29 from 8:40am-8:00pm

Teachers have created WISHLIST books, you can shop for your favorite teacher here: https://www.brilliant-books.net/wishlist/1148  Thanks in advance for your support of our school!
