About Mrs. Bocian… I am a U.P. girl and grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. My parents own a clothing store, which has been family owned since 1913, and although I absolutely LOVE working in the retail world, I always new that I wanted to work with kids. I received my undergrad degree from Alma College and finished my Master's Degree through Michigan State...GO GREEN. In my free time you will find me playing outdoors with my husband and dog, reading, working on artsy projects, cooking, drinking coffee with friends, or tinkering around my house in the village of Lake Ann. My 1st and 2nd grade students would probably add that I'm also a spontaneous, spunky, caring teacher that loves what she does and feels lucky to be working at Westwoods.
