Introducing School Social Worker Kathleen Blazejewski:

Hello Long Lake Parents!

It is wonderful to work with your children as a TCAPS school social worker in the Student Assistance Program at Long Lake Elementary!  This is my 14th year working with TCAPS and my 4th year at Long Lake Elementary. 

My role is to be involved in various ways that can assist a child’s educational experience.  This may involve school-wide activities such as our Panther assemblies that recognize our “Panthers of the Week”, visiting classrooms to address conflict resolution skills/anti-harassment, and personal safety, working with the social and emotional concerns of  students individually or in small groups,  meeting with parents about questions or concerns related to their child and networking families with community resources.

Some of my best experience has been gained by also being a parent, whose three children have now made it to young adulthood!!  Please know my door is open to you as we work together to have your child’s school experience be a positive one!  I am at Long Lake Elementary on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and can be reached at 933-7838.
