Introducing Resource Room Teacher Beth Havens:
Welcome to Resource Room at Long Lake Elementary School! I’m Beth Havens and I’m happy to have joined the Long Lake family in 2008.
My background in education began in Michigan at Western Michigan University (WMU), where I earned a Bachelor’s degree. Upon graduation I began teaching outside of Michigan. After a few years, I decided to return to Michigan and obtain my Master’s degree at WMU in Educational Technology and continue teaching.
I live in Traverse City with my husband and have enjoyed the area for the last 5 years.
