Reward School -
Dear Courtade Families,

I am so proud to share a letter I received last week from the State of Michigan. It is a letter congratulating our school on being identified as a Reward School. Only 10% of all schools in our State earned this honor!!! There are three possible categories that are used to determine our status. Courtade ranked high in two areas: High Progress and Beating the Odds. This means our students are demonstrating significant improvement and sustaining their growth over a period of time and we are closing the gap between our highest performing students and our lowest performing students.

As I have shared before, our results and this honor are a direct result of the efforts of our staff, students and parents all working together to set high expectations and produce quality work. Student achievement is a high priority for our school community. I know that our efforts are providing a solid foundation for all of our students as they progress through their educational journey.

I am blessed to work for the Courtade community and truly appreciate the efforts of our students, staff, and parents. GO COUGARS!!

Sincerely,

Caroline Wacker
