Greetings From Mrs. MacArthur
The library is such a busy place right now. Students and staff are in and out to select books, hear stories and do research. I am glad to see everyone so excited about reading. Students visit the library once a week with their class to hear a story and checkout books. Those books are due the following week on their library day. Our youngest students are learning how to use the library and how to take good care of the books they take home.
I am always looking for parents who are willing to come in and help out during class visits. It is nice for students to see other adults helping out at school and we all appreciate the extra hands on the job. If you are interested in being a library volunteer please give me a call at 933-5673.
If you are trying to think of a cool birthday gift for your child that will benefit all of our students, how about donating a book or a magazine subscription to the school library? We will put a bookplate inside the front cover acknowledging your generous gift in your child’s name. This would also be announced to the students during the morning announcements. All you have to do is stop into the library and we can work out the details. Books are also a great way to memorialize a loved one. The bookplate would name the person and state their relationship to your family.
Come in and say hello! You are always welcome.
