PTO Information
The PTO is a group of parents who help our school raise money for classroom supplies, playground equipment and even more. As well as raising money they decide what to spend it on, how much to spend, and who gets what and how much. They also sponsor or give money to school events. Some of the events include, the icecream social, fun and funky field day refreshments, banquets, enrichment programs, 5th grade graduation.

| February 3, 2012 PTO NewsWell, the snow is finally here and PTO has not had a lot to do because of snow days! We hope everyone is enjoying the snow and don't forget we still have lots of fun in store for everyone!
On a more serious note, it is with much sorrow that we said goodbye to a dedicated PTO parent who passed away in January. Jeana O'Kane has been a tireless PTO volunteer for the playground renovation years ago, and worked and organized the popcorn Fridays and sub sales, helped with classroom activities, T.E.A.M. sports and the list goes on and on. Her energy and dedication can be seen all over our school. Jeana O'Kane will be deeply missed.

| December 2, 2011 PTO NewsFall Festival Fun
Thank you to all the families who helped out and those who came to the Fall Festival. It was a huge night of fun for everyone! Special thanks to Amy Marshall and her family who did all the organizing!! Amazing job, Amy! Also, thanks to Hoxsie Orchard for the wonderful pumpkin fundraiser and delicious cider and donuts. Yum!!
Sub Sale Success!!!!
Wow!! The sub sale was again a huge success and a great experience for our fourth and fifth graders who made the subs along with our parent volunteers. Way to go, kids!! An important thanks goes out to all the parent volunteers. And a very, very heartfelt thank you goes to Jeana O'Kane and Karie Roman. These two ladies have been organizing the sub sale for more years than we can count. As our main PTO fundraiser, we could not do any of what we do without them. If you see them or their children around school, tell them thanks!!!!!

Movie night, December 9
will include holiday movies, a preschool presentation, and a sing-a-long of Christmas Carols. Holiday Fun!!

A big Thank You goes out to Jim Harvey for joining PTO as Vice President! We know he'll be great!
Please return your PTO volunteer form. We need LOTS of people to help with Fall Festival. FALL FESTIVAL is October 28th from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Please come in your Halloween costumes and have a fun evening of activities at school. Flyers coming home soon!
November Movie Night is November 11th. Please join us and bring a canned food item to donate to the Father Fred Foundation.
