Activities/Curriculum
All TCAPS' preschool/enrichment programs use Creative Curriculum. Activities in the Preschool/Kindergarten Enrichment programs address each child's individual developmental needs, with the emphasis will be on literacy and language development. Children will engage in arts and crafts, creative games, science and nature projects, computers, productive play, and rest. Social, physical, emotional and intellectual stimulation will all be featured.

Who is Eligible
All area three, four, and five year old children, including kindergarteners, are welcome. All public, private, and parochial students are welcome. Preschool students need to be toilet-trained by school entry date.

Admission Policy
A child may be enrolled by first submitting an enrollment form. A $30.00 Non-refundable registration fee must be included. Enrollment will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. All children enrolled will follow TCAPS and State of Michigan licensing, health, and immunization policies. All immunizations must be up to date before attendance.

Program Hours
Central Grade School's Preschool/Enrichment Program will operate the same calendar and hours as the regular school program. Hours are Full Day - 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Half-Day - 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. or 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. On delay days, due to weather, the program will be open as regularly scheduled. Before and after school care is available at the building for additional cost.

Fees
The rate is $27.00 per day and $16.00 per half day, snacks included. Lunch available at regular school price.
NOTE: Families who meet income guidelines may be eligible for Department of Human Services (DHS) financial assistance. Parents/Guardians are responsible for any fees not covered by DHS. Contact DHS for information at 231-941-3900.
Returned checks will be accessed a $25.00 fee.

Payment Schedule
Payment is made every two weeks in advance by credit card, check, or money order payable to TCAPS, and given to the Program Manager at the site where the child attends.
