Computer Lab

All students from second through fifth grade come for instruction to the Computer Lab once or twice a week depending on grade level. There are 30 computers in the Computer Lab.  Central Grade School's lessons range from basic keyboarding skills using Type to Learn to Internet research,  presentations, spreadsheets and graphs, using Open Office.   We have three wireless laptop carts.  Students can use the laptops to access any projects they are working on in the Computer Lab right in their classroom and teachers can have students use the laptops for research and other projects.   Open Office software programs are similar to MS Office programs.  Open Office is a free download.  Add this free software to your home computer.   http://www.openoffice.org/
