Math and Science Camp students use gizmos, innovative, state-of-the-art online simulations that make learning easy and lasting. How much would you weigh on the moon? Can you analyze a mysterious powder? Explore concepts online and join campers at Traverse City Area Public Schools for Math and/or Science Camps for an exciting learning adventure.
Grade Level: Incoming 6th - 8th Grade Students
Two-Week Camp Session: July 7-18, 2008; July 21 - August 1, 2008

Work in the Traverse City Central High School Compuer Lab
With a TCAPS Camp Counselor (Optional)
Price: $100 per camp session.

Camp Descriptions:
TCAPS' Math and Science Camps for middle school students are two-week summer enrichment programs that combine virtual learning with a daily option to work with a camp counselor in a TCAPS Computer Lab at Traverse City Central High School, 1150 Milliken Drive, TC. Strengthen study habits and get a head start on Michigan's new high school graduation requirements. The camps are offered in partnership with Michigan Virtual SchoolTM and provide interactive activities that will fuel learners' passion for discovery.
