I currently teach 4th and 5th grades at Willow Hill Elementary. I teach Social Studies to all 5th graders and Language Arts to my homeroom of fourth and fifth graders. Language Arts is a lively time, working in guided reading groups, practicing spelling, reading good fit books, and reading our scholastic Storyworks magazine. Social Studies consists of American History.
I have a Bachelor's Degree with a Social Studies major and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Teaching. I have been teaching for about twenty-two years, the last four of them at Willow Hill.
Willow Hill is a place where everyone gets excited about learning; children, teachers and parents. Stop by and visit. I’ll probably greet you in the hall. I try to stop and say hi to everyone I see.
