Mrs. Marilyn Mills - Fourth Grade Teacher
I am a fourth grade teacher with 35 years teaching experience and 2 years as a substitute teacher. I have a B.A. in Education, a M. A. in classroom reading from CMU, and an additional 32 hours post-graduate credits.
I have taught grades 3-4-5-6, with majority of experience in grade 4, which I absolutely love. No two days are ever the same in a 4th grade classroom. I enjoy watching students grow emotionally, socially, and academically at this grade level. It is exciting when it all clicks!
Outside of school, I like to travel (especially to visit my 3 sons), take walks with my husband, garden, listen to music, and anything to do with the water and a beach. I have also inherited a voracious appetite for reading from my late mother and can often be found with my nose in a mystery or historical fiction novel; or listening to one being read on a MP3 while doing something else, or in the car. My epitaph should read, "I wasn't done with that book yet!"
