Mrs. Sue Thomas - Third Grade Teacher

My name is Sue Thomas and I teach third grade at Willow Hill.  I have been teaching for 17 years.  I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Valley State University.  I love watching my students' faces light up when something they have struggled with finally clicks.  Those "ah-ha" moments are priceless. 

I am proud to be a Traverse City native and a graduate of TCAPS.  My husband and I have two children who both attend Willow Hill.  It is a joy and a blessing to work where my kids attend school.  I enjoy gardening, cross country skiing, biking, and playing outside with my kids.
