Mrs. Erin Jongekrijg - Third Grade Teacher

My name is Erin Jongekrijg and I teach third grade at Willow Hill. I have been teaching for TCAPS for ten years. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Hope College and a Master's degree from Central Michigan University in Reading/Writing Literacy with a Reading Specialist Endorsement.

I love seeing children become passionate about learning. Their enthusiasm helps my excitement continue to grow!

I have been married to my husband, Scott, for five years. Our first “child” was our Goldendoodle, Marley. We also have a son, Owen, and are expecting our second child this spring. We love living in Traverse City and experiencing all this great community has to offer!
