Mrs. Joanie Boynton - Third Grade Teacher

My name is Joanie Boynton, and I am a third grade teacher at Willow Hill.  I have been teaching with TCAPS for 24 years.  I received my Bachelor's Degree from Albion College and have taken graduate level courses from the University of Michigan, Central Michigan University, and Michigan State University.

I believe that all children are entitled to a safe and stimulating environment at school.  It is essential that parents and teachers work together to become partners in this experience.

My husband, Jack, and I have lived in Traverse City for 39 years.  We have five children and seven grandchildren.  I consider myself extremely fortunate!
