Mrs. Barbara Hoffman - Second Grade Teacher

My name is Barbara Hoffman and I teach second grade at Willow Hill School.  I have been with TCAPS for 14 years and had 8 prior years of teaching experience in Illinois.  I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Language Arts from the University of Illinois, Champaign, Illinois.  My Master's Degree in Teaching and Curriculum is from Michigan State University.

There are so many rewarding experiences in teaching but for me a real "stand out" is being a part of the amazing student thinking and conversations that percolate throughout the school day. 

On a personal note, my husgband and I have two daughters, Katherine and Jessica.  I enjoy yoga, walking, and reading outside of my school day.
