Mrs. Sue Vance - Kindergarten Teacher  

Hi! My name is Sue Vance. I teach kindergarten at Willow Hill. I have been teaching for TCAPS for 16 years. I’ve taught in other school districts as well, and have about 24 years of experience total. Most of my career has been teaching first grade, but I am very much enjoying a new challenge of working with kindergartners. One day doesn’t go by where I’m not amazed by what children are capable of. (They also make me laugh which is a giant career bonus!) I am also writing early childhood curriculum books. 
 
I went to Northern Michigan University where I majored in English, with a planned elementary minor (arts). My husband, Blake, is a teacher at West Middle School. We have 3 children, Brady 26, Mack 20, and Lily 10. In my spare time I enjoy hot yoga, reading, gardening, and boating.
