Ms. Denise Richard - First Grade Teacher
Hi!! My name is Denise Richard and I am fortunate to be a first grade teacher at Willow Hill Elementary School. My teaching experience is extensive. I have been teaching first grade for TCAPS for 24 years. I spent 11 years teaching at Chippewa Hills, near Mt. Pleasant, prior to my current position.
I graduated from Delta College with an Associate’s degree. I then attended Central Michigan University where I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. Teaching is an awesome and rewarding profession. No two days are ever the same and each day presents new challenges and new adventures. It is never boring. That is for sure!
I have two adult children who are also elementary teachers for TCAPS. I have two awesome grandsons and a son-in-law who teaches at NMC. I enjoy camping, traveling, walking, and spending time with family and friends.
