Bring your ideas and your energy and join us for the next PTO meeting.  Help the PTO to decide the best ways to utilize our fundraising resources.  The second Tuesday or Thursday of every month at 6:30 in the Library.  Free childcare is provided.

  Westwoods Elementary Announces

  its 1st Annual RAKE-A-THON

   

  The proceeds raised from this fundraiser will help EVERY student in EVERY classroom at Westwoods Elementary by fulfilling teacher grant requests as well as expand important programs like FASTT Math, Reading Counts, Special Education, Music, Art, etc.

  GOAL: Generate $150 per student in revenue while promoting family togetherness and providing a useful service to our community.

  We need your help! We are asking that you get involved in at least one of the four ways listed below:

  1. Volunteer as a Room Parent Coordinator for your child’s classroom

  2. Volunteer to Rake Lawns

  2. Register residents and businesses to have their lawns raked

  3. Join our group lawn clean-ups to be held in October and November 2009 (in conjunction with the downtown Traverse City fall clean-up)

  PAYOUT STRUCTURE

  Westwoods PTO: Retains 20% of ALL proceeds

  Recruiter: 30% of your lawn proceeds is paid to the beneficiary of your choice...i.e. PTO, specific classroom or program, etc.

  Raker: 50% of your lawn proceeds is paid to the beneficiary of your choice...i.e. PTO, specific classroom or program, etc.
