Olympia Principal's Message
Hello Parents,
Our email system allows you to email any teacher by using the first 8 letters of their last name and the first two letters of their first name, followed by @tcaps.net.
So I'm longst@tcaps.net. All of these staff email addresses are on the school's website under the staff tab. Speaking of which, there are many updates, announcements, events, and links to great information on our website. If you haven't tried it yet, the address is www.tcaps.net/wsh .
Many of your kids will have to use a Moodle site for class work and homework. Our library is available before and after school as well as during the day for any student who does not have computer or web access at home.
As of today, the district is still working to finalize the 2010-2011 TCAPS calendar and www.tcaps.net has the dates of vacations posted. The calendar will be posted on both our school's and the district's websites as soon as it's finalized.
Parent Internet Viewer is available for your use. If you did not receive a username and password in the mail and last year's no longer works, you can have your child see Mrs.. McFarlan in my office and she will give him/her the information. If you prefer, you can call and ask for it to be mailed and she will send it to your home address on file, or you can come on in and pick it up. We don't send it via email or grant phone requests for security reasons.
