Westwoods Elementary School will offer a Summer Basketball Clinic beginning Thursday, June 11th, through Saturday, June 13th, at Westwoods Elementary School, 1500 Fisher Road. The clinic is open for any Westwoods Elementary School boy or girl going into 3rd through 5th grade next fall. Participants will learn the fundamentals of basketball.
Westwoods Elementary School Principal Sander Scott will be the clinic instructor. Mr. Scott played high school and college basketball, coached both boys and girls varsity basketball for over 10 seasons, and has over 15 years experience facilitating summer instructional clinics.
Cost is $30.00 per student. All money raised for the basketball clinic will help support Westwoods Elementary School programs. Scholarships are available to any student who wants to attend but cannot due to financial constraints.
Participants are asked to wear athletic shoes, comfortable clothes, and hair pulled back. No jewelry, please.
