In February and March Silver Lake Elementary school will host a “Memories with Mom” reading event in the school library. This morning event will brighten the day of all those involved and create special memories. Students are encouraged to invite their mothers, grandmothers, aunts, older sisters, or a special lady who is important to them to come to school and enjoy reading and together time.
Reading event dates are determined by the student’s last name. Event dates and times are as follows:

Beginning with A—L Wednesday March 4, 2009 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
Beginning with M—Z Thursday, February 26, 2009 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
When schools are in session, all visitors are required to sign in at the Main Office and receive a “Visitors Pass” upon entering a TCAPS school or event.
