On Thursday, February 26th, Old Mission Peninsula School will hold their Spring Carnival. Families and community members are invited to take part in this event. The theme will be “Safari.” Students are encouraged to wear items ordered for Carnival and dress as if they were on a safari: binoculars, khaki shorts, light colored shirts, sunglasses, wool socks, hiking boots, wide brim hats, etc. Events include pizza dinner, games, prizes, and fun for the whole family as well as an animal safari exhibit including a giraffe, zebra, warthog, kudu, and elephant tusk. The carnival will be held from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Old Mission Peninsula School, 2735 Island View Road.
