In March, Silver Lake Elementary School will host a “Memories with Dad” reading event in the school library. This morning event will brighten the day of all those involved and create special memories. Students are encouraged to invite their fathers, grandfathers, uncles, older brothers, or a special man who is important to them to come to school and enjoy reading and together time.
The date each student will participate in the reading event will be determined by the student’s last name. The scheduled dates and times are as follows:

Beginning with A—L Thursday, March 12, 2009 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
Beginning with M—Z Thursday, March 19, 2009 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
When schools are in session, all visitors are required to sign in at the Main Office and receive a “Visitors Pass” upon entering a TCAPS school or event.
