Eastern Elementary School students from Mrs. Radakovich’s second grade class are collecting food for the animals at the Traverse City Humane Society. The students took a class vote to decide what they could do as a service project for the community during the holiday season and collecting food for animals won by a landslide.
The Students have placed a box outside their classroom door to collect donations. For community members wishing to support the cause, donations are being accepted now through December 19th, when Mrs. Radakovich will deliver the food to the TC Humane Society, 1750 Ahlberg Road.
