On December 3rd, at 10:00 a.m., fifth grade students from Old Mission Peninsula School will bring holiday cheer to residents at the Grand Traverse Pavilions Senior Care Center. Old Mission students are eager to bring cheer to residents who may not have family close by, and to learn more about their lives as children and memories of the holiday season they each enjoy.
As a result of this meeting, students will compose holiday cards to their new friends that will be shared in January in a meeting entitled: Memories: Past and Present.
