Traverse City West Senior High School Advanced Placement (AP) Statistics teachers, Diana Lyon-Schumacher and Jessie Houghton, have been invited to apply for the Siemens Award for AP Teachers. Based on data from the College Board’s AP Report to the Nation, TC West Senior High School has one of the highest student success rates in the state of Michigan.
“We are proud to have two outstanding teachers like Diana Lyon-Schumacher and Jessie Houghton at TC West Senior High School,” said Joseph Tibaldi, TC West Senior High School Principal. “Both are leaders in their field of mathematics, but also serve on the Leadership Team at TC West Senior High School. Their passion for students and effective teaching make their classrooms an exemplary learning environment for students.”
