On Thursday, October 2nd, Old Mission Peninsula School will host their annual “Pasta on the Peninsula” fundraiser for family and community members from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The event includes a pasta dinner, silent auction, live auction, and a 50/50 raffle. Items listed to be auctioned include:
- Overnight stays at local wineries and resorts
- Unique local restaurant offerings (dinner at your home)
- Etiquette luncheon for children
- Lawn mowing for 2009
- Hotel excursions
- Sporting equipment
- A lug of cherries
- Gift certificates from local retailers
Dinner prices are $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens (60 years or older), and $5 for children under 12 years. A family price of $30 for families with five or more members is available. Dinner includes pasta, salad, dessert, and a drink.
All proceeds from this event will be used for school programs including the Spanish program, student field trips, and classroom supplies.
