Beginning Monday, September 8th, Long Lake Elementary School will offer a Preschool Program for children ages 3-5. The program offers personalized learning unique to each child’s developmental abilities and is taught by qualified, caring, and experienced staff in a safe and nurturing environment. Morning, afternoon, and all-day preschool classes are available on a first-come, first serve basis. Students may attend from one to five days a week. All area three, four, and five-year old children are welcome. Preschool students need to be toilet-trained and immunizations must be up-to-date prior to attending the preschool program.
Preschool options include:
- Full day program 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Morning program 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Afternoon program 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The full day rate is $27.00 per day and $16.00 per half-day. Hot lunch may be purchased for $2.10 or a cold lunch can be brought from home. Families who meet income guidelines may be eligible for Department of Human Services (DHS) financial assistance. Contact DHS at 941-3900 for more information.
