On Thursday, May 29, 2008 TCAPS’ Music Boosters will host a Benefit Concert to raise money for TCAPS’ music program. Musicians from Traverse City Area Public Schools’ junior and senior high schools will combine forces to present an evening of diverse music. Symphony Bands and Orchestras, Chorales, Choral-Aires, and Symphonic Choir, as well as Jazz Bands will be featured. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Traverse City Central
High School Gymnasium.
Funds raised from the concert will be used for student scholarships for private lessons and summer music camp participation, guest clinicians, and to provide mini-grants that support all aspects of the K-12 music program.
The public is invited to attend this outstanding performance. Donations are being requested in lieu of a set admission price.
