On Wednesday, May 21, 2008 Traverse City Central High School’s Chorale will host a “Send Off” Benefit Concert at 7:00 p.m. at the New Hope Community Church, 880 Munson Avenue, in Acme.
The Traverse City Central High School Chorale have been chosen to attend the National Memorial Day Choral Festival in Washington D.C. over Memorial Day weekend. The Chorale is one of a select group of high school choirs across the nation invited to perform at this prestigious event with Dr. Andre Thomas.
The Chorale will perform the musical selections they have prepared for the National Memorial Day Festival. The performance is free as a “thank you” to the community for their support. Goodwill donations will be accepted to defray student tuition costs associated with the trip to Washington D.C. to participate in the national event.
