Traverse City Area Public Schools will be moving to middle schools beginning in the Fall of 2008. Parents of current fifth and sixth grade students are invited to attend an informational meeting (to be held at two locations on both dates listed below) scheduled in January to learn more about TCAPS’ move to middle schools.
Information on class schedules and course offerings will be shared. Additionally, Principals will provide parents with an overview of recommendations for middle school schedule, special area options, and extra-curricular activities and there will be opportunities for parents to share questions.
Meetings will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at both junior high schools. Traverse City East Junior High School parents will meet in the EJH Library and Traverse City West Junior High School parents will meet in the WJH Little Theatre on the following dates:
· Incoming 6th Graders Information Meeting January 22nd
· Incoming 7th Graders Information Meeting January 29th
