Advanced Theater students from Traverse City West Senior High School will present William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream on November 15 – 18, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. and November 18 – 19, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. in the TC West Senior High School Auditorium.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a Shakespearean comedy, which the students have chosen to set in the year 1801. The story revolves around two young couples, not all in love with the right people. They run away into the forest where love potions and mischievous, flying fairies await them. The couple’s emotions are altered again and again until, at last, everything is made right, ending the play in happy marriages.

The entire production has been directed, costumed, choreographed, and executed by West Senior High School students. Flying effects have been contracted with ZFX, Inc.
