On Tuesday, November 13, 2007, Johnathan Rand, self-published children’s author of the ever famous “Michigan Chiller” and "American Chiller" children’s books will be presenting to 3rd – 6th grade students at Norris Elementary School from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the school gymnasium.
Weaving his magic with students, Johnathan talks about the adventures of reading, telling them that “Reading isn’t something you do…it’s a place that you go.” By the end of his presentation, students are on their way to becoming serious readers.
Mr. Rand’s Chiller series have sold over two million copies. Johnathan has added two new series to his collection since starting with the Chillers, “The Adventure Club” and his newest, “Freddie Fernortner, Fearless First Grader.” Johnathan is also the founder of the summer writing workshop, Jonathan Rand’s Author Quest…The Definitive Writer’s Camp…For Serious Young Writers. The workshop is open to young authors, ages 10 – 15.
Mr. Rand’s books will be available for purchase following his presentation. He will also be available for book signings. Pre-orders are requested.
