As part of the United Way Day of Caring project, Kohl’s department store has adopted the gardens at Silver Lake Elementary School. On Saturday, September 1, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., employees from Kohl’s will volunteer at the Silver Lake Elementary School Garden to assist with planting, weeding, and cleaning up the flowerbeds.
In addition, Garden Goods has generously donated the mulch and several plants that will be used for the project. This Day of Caring project will beautify the school in preparation for the first day of classes on September 4th.
